Because of Minnesota's archaic laws, we are not allowed to produce beer for resell in package stores outside of the basic growler sizes.  So we have to rely on local breweries to produce our beer for resale.  As of mid 2021, we have used three different breweries to produce and can our Yoerg's Beer over the last five years.   Yoerg's Beer is a "finicky bitch of a beer" to produce and lager (6-8 weeks in tank), so most breweries don't have a tank they can tie up for so long (Ales take 2-3 weeks in comparison), which is why it's not easy getting Yoerg's Beer on the market.  And now we have a severe can shortage, which maked distribution even harder to achieve.  But we will keep you posted.  Cans are coming (we hear) and we hope to have our beers back in the retail stores very soon.

From the day this city was born, Saint Paul's always been a 'drinkin' town.  In it's early days, the city of Saint Paul was a major port along the Mississippi River.  As the downtown industry grew along the river, so did the number of saloons.  And they all carried Yoerg's Beer.  The German and Irish immigrants loved their beer, and Yoerg was there to please.  Here is a fun list of many of the great saloons of yesteryear, the one's our parents, grandparents and great grandparents frequented and supported.
